Rafa’s – Introduction
Rafa’s is one of the most enjoyable places we have visited for fresh, vibrant seafood, cooked simply but perfectly.
When we arrived here in north-eastern Spain in the city of Roses, we were met by the owner who told us that “we only have seafood”. We assured him that was why we were there. We had heard about the seafood and that was why we had driven down from France.
He repeated the warning once or twice more but eventually allowed us to take a seat at one of the outside tables (it was a warm day).
We were pleased we persisted as the sequence of fish dishes that we were served were absolutely fresh and cooked perfectly.
