Patricia – Introduction

Patricia is a great place to head for in Melbourne for a very good coffee experience. It is standing room only and you may have to queue, but the experience is well worth it. Don’t be put off by the fact that you have to venture into suited and bewigged territory!

We have been going there irregularly since they opened in 2011.

They used to source their beans from the best roasters in Melbourne including Seven Seeds, Market Lane, Small Batch, Proud Mary, Everyday, Blume, Core, Manta Ray, Fieldwork, Craftwork and others. Holwever, since 2024 they have been roasting their own beans in their own facility in Coburg North.

They also serve a variety of pastries and other goodies from some of the best bakers in Melbourne.

Order your coffee to go or to drink in-house. We like to stand at the bar in front of the coffee machine and watch the extremely professional barristas carry out their work with calm efficiency.
