Samuel Pepys
Samuel Pepys is a lovely wine shop and cafe in Northcote in the suburbs of Melbourne. It is owned and operated by the talented Joey Elder who has an excellent knowledge of the wines he sells. Here you can peruse the shelves with row upon row of interesting wine or sit outside in the sunshine under the huge tree that springs from the pavement to enjoy a snack and a glass of wine. (You will soon be able to enjoy a space outside at the rear of the building which we are looking forward to!)
96 High St, Northcote
Cathedral Coffee and Le Tuffeau
An excellent venue that we love visiting for a snack or for a natural wine – the wine selection here is excellent and the food very good. Their new venue, Le Tuffeau is where you can find some truly interesting natural wines. Ask for directions from the staff at Cathedral Coffee if you don’t know how to find Le Tuffeau.

Every time we visit Canberra, our first stop is to climb the stairs to Bar Rochford in London Circuit. This is an excellent venue with an energetic vibe.
